What goes with converse?? (the ones that aren't high tops)?

I'm thinking of getting a black pair for summer (I don't like sandals or pumps, and trainers are too hot)
So I was going to get a pair like these:

Also what goes with these???
In the summer I live in shorts and vest tops, so would they go??? Or should I get the high tops??

Basically which style of converse is the most versatile (as in goes with the most things??)

The first ones look better and are more versatile. Their are less likely to go out of fashion as they will always be fashionable because they are such classics. Converse go with absolutely anything, jeans, shorts, skirts, cute summer dresses - the lot. If you like to wear vests and shorts then they will most definately go together.

• I like the second pair better, evenough they're pretty much the same.......
  anyway
  everything goes, from dresses to leggings, to long pippi lonstockings stripy socks.......
• I think low tops go with more, and they would be fine with what you wear in the summer. I can envision the second pair going better with shorts/vest tops though.
• 1st pair look better
  and you can shorts,skinny jeans and all that stuff with converse and it will still look okay :)
