Bra size - this can't be right?

I wanted to find out my bra size so I entered my info online and it told me I was a 34C. But I tried on an A in Primark and it was a little bit too big (I'm still growing). So I thought I must be a AA. This can't be right. Did I measure myself wrong?

I went to La Senza about 12 months ago and got measured.
All my life I have worn a 38C, you can imagine my surprise when the lady told me I was a 40D.
So I tried on a 40D bra and it fit like a dream.

Go get measured! It's the best thing you can ever do for yourself! You don't even have to take anything off, so no need to be embarrassed. Also remember... good underwear means the clothes you put over it will look better, as Gok Wan always says! :)

• go to places like Marks And Spencer and get measured. don't be embarrased because you don't have to take everything off. you can even get your mum to do it. all they do is stick a little tape measure around you and then do the maths and tah-dah, it's over! believe me, i was really embarrased to go in but it's not even bad! and then you will know for sure what size you are. : )
• Your best bet is to go to a store and ask to be measured, somewhere like Debenhams or something.
  
  If you'd rather do it yourself, you have to measure all around your back directly underneath your bust and then all around your back around the largest part or your bust. Look on an Ann Summers website or La Senza's sizing chart for your size.

• If you go into any store that sees bras (particularly speciality stores, but most department stores too) they can tell you, ofter just by looking at you. But they can also help you pick out sizes and styles to fit and flatter your shape. And always try them on when you can, because just like everything else, none are made the same.
• You can get measured in some shops. Marks and Spencer do, and they have nice bras that are good prices. Don't feel embarrassed! They are professionals!

• Different manufacturers have different sizes - no matter what the "norm" may be expected to be - the bra makers seem to have their own sizes.
  I vary between a C and F cup with different makes - I just have to try them on & see what feels comfy.
• just try on A, B, and C. see which one fits you the best and stick with it. i can't buy bras online b/c i never know how they are gonna fit me, if that's why you wanted to know you are much better off going to the actual store.

• Go to a clothing store and ask a member of staff if they do sizing. They will measure you and bring you some bras in that size then if they will give you advice if the sizing is awkward.

• most places will size you so you get the right fit, if you prefer measuring yourself, measure both above and below your breast for band size and exactly around your breast for cupsize ...good luck

  Go to Lasenza and they can measure you. I'm a 36 B and though I was a 34 A.
• Get someone to measure you at a store to be certain.
• I think you should go to a store and try on one and see if you are certain what size you are.
• You're certainly NOT a 34C if you can't fit into an A.
• u sud go get a free measurement! also primark bra's are really really uncomfy
• stores measure for free and u know they are right. 80% of wemon are wearing the wrong size bra!!!!!
